Full Week Armed Security Officer Certification Course (must take Unarmed Course first) This course will prepare you for employment in the security field as an armed security officer by educating you regarding the important knowledge, skills, and abilities required to conduct armed security functions responsibly and effectively.
At the completion of this course, you will be certified by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) as an armed security officer in the state of Illinois.

This course is a one-day introduction to the basics of the M4/AR-15 carbine rifle system. This is a course that is especially geared toward the inexperienced or new carbine rifle owner. Students will become proficient in the take-down, cleaning, general maintenance, sight adjustment/alignment and basic marksmanship as well as ammunition selection and external ballistics. This course is specifically geared toward the AR platform rifles.
This is an 8-hour course and the cost is $150 per student.

The Concealed Carry Weapons course is designed to satisfy the requirements to obtain a state of Illinois Concealed Carry permit. Your training will encompass both classroom and live fire training. Our instructors also provide you with a complete overview of the basics of managing unknown contact, basic shooting skills, situational awareness, and equipment/clothing considerations as well as justifiable use of force. Students will be required to pass a practical shooting test involving 30 rounds, 10 rounds at 5 yards and at 7 yards, and 10 rounds at 10 yards. You must achieve a 70% in the scoring area of the target. You will have two chances to qualify. There is no shooting training or practice involved, just the qualification. The course is a total of 16 hours over two days or over four evenings.
A 1 day credit is given if you have taken the NRA Basic Pistol course or if you are active duty military or honorably discharged. Concealed carry classes are $100 for the first day and $125 for the second day.

This 8 hour course offers recognized training material created by the Committed on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (C-TECC) and the American Red Cross. Upon completion participants will be certified TECC First-Care Providers and Certified in CPR/AED by the Red Cross. In the event of a workplace accident, medical emergency, shooting, stabbing, training accident, or mass casualty event, time is the enemy of the wounded. The more people prepared to step-up and provide care, the better the chances are for survival. TECC is the globally recognized standard for initial, pre-medical, first aid. Cost is $200

This two hour youth class will teach students (ages 8-14) how to respect, safely handle and shoot a gun. The classroom portion will cover the four safety rules of handling a gun, the mechanics of semi-automatic pistols and the fundamentals of shooting (stance, grip, sighting, and trigger control) with training guns – all in a safe, controlled environment. The range portion will give students the opportunity to practice those skills, and build their confidence, with live fire shooting, using .22 caliber pistols.
