Fox Valley Shooting Range is now open to the public.
What are your hours of operation?
What is your hourly range fee?
The rental fee for a standard lane is $22 per hour, and a second shooter is $10 per hour (maximum of one additional person).
What is your private suite fee?
A private suite is $27.00 per hour and $12.00 for each additional person (maximum of three additional people). Children under 16 shoot for free. Only one person can shoot at a time.
Do you have a gunsmith on site?
Yes, we do.
Do you handle firearm transfers?
Yes, we handle firearm transfers.
What is the largest caliber I can shoot?
The largest caliber you can shoot is 50 BMG.
Can I use my own ammo?
Yes, except in rental guns.
What is the cost of a rental firearm?
The cost is $15.00 to rent a firearm plus ammunition.
Do I have to make a reservation prior to shooting?
No, walk-ins are welcome.

What is the minimum age to shoot?
You must be 21 years old to shoot pistols and 18 years old to shoot rifles or shotguns. However, children 10 years and older may shoot as long as they are under the direct supervision of their parent or legal guardian.
Can I shoot steel, case, core or jacketed ammunition?
No, you cannot.
Can I shoot from a holster?
Yes, but only after passing a Fox Valley Shooting Range Holster Draw class and at designated times.
Do I have to have a FOID card to shoot?
Yes, unless you have a state issued ID from a state that does not require a FOID card or are under the direct supervision of a FOID card holder that is at least 21 years old.
