Intro to Youth Rifle

Intro to Youth Rifle is designed to provide young shooters with a safe and enjoyable introduction to rifle shooting. This course combines classroom instruction with live-fire range training to teach the fundamentals of rifle safety, handling, and marksmanship. Students will learn proper shooting techniques, safe firearm practices, and the importance of responsibility while gaining hands-on experience with .22 LR rifles in a controlled and supportive environment.

This course is ideal for youth who are interested in shooting sports, hunting, or simply learning the basics of rifle shooting. Our certified instructors will guide students through every step of the process, helping them build confidence and develop safe habits that
will serve them throughout their shooting journey.

Prerequisite(s): None (Completion of Safety First Academy is recommended but not required)

Range Training:
Students will use .22 LR rifles during the live-fire portion of the course. Rifles will be supported with sandbags to provide a stable shooting platform, allowing students to focus on safety, fundamentals, and accuracy. Instructors will provide individualized coaching to help students develop proper technique and confidence behind the rifle.

Debrief & Review:
At the conclusion of the course, instructors will discuss each student's experience, review safety performance, reinforce the 4 Universal Firearm Safety Rules, and provide guidance for continued skill development.
