First Aid Training – Both Courses

In cooperation with Act Fast Medical Training, Fox Valley Shooting Range is offering a one of a kind first aid training course! Medical emergencies you may encounter on or off the range taught in two courses.

First half of the Course:
Heartsavers First Aid and CPR/AED*

• Adult, child and infant CPR
• AED use for all ages
• Adult, child and infant choking
• Numerous medical emergencies

*2-year certification cards issued immediately upon successful completion

Second Half of Course:
Gun Range / Gunshot Wound Basic First Aid*

• Gunshot would basics: tactical treatment
• Ballistics and the effects of bullets
• High velocity vs. low velocity injuries
• Entry / exit wounds
• Treatments / location of wounds
• Controlling bleeding / using tourniquets
• Products available
• Myths & more – basic necessities, above and beyond

*This course is for non-medical personnel and is no substitute for in-depth medical training. It is for someone who may have to provide immediate care and stabilization of a victim to increase chances of survival

$145 per person (lunch included)
